The Water ProjectPeople need fresh water to live. For instance, we use fresh water for drinking, washing, and growing plants. Most fresh water is frozen in glaciers, or is located deep, deep underground.
Unfortunately, many people in the world do not have access to fresh water. Watch this video to learn more about what kinds of problems this can cause. Many individuals work to help people all of the world have access to clean water by raising money with projects like The Water Challenge. You can learn about The Water Challenge at this website. For this project, we are going to use our research skills and our knowledge of the water cycle to explain what causes these water problems. We are also going to explore possible solutions to these water problems. Our job is to use our research to inspire our classmates, teachers, families, and friends to participate in The Water Challenge so we can help all people access clean and safe water.
